A brand-new section, Bigg Bulletin With Shekhar Suman[2], hosted by Shekhar Suman, debuted on Sunday. Instead of airing on Saturdays and Sundays as in previous seasons, Weekend Ka Vaar, namely Shukravar and Shanivar Ka Vaar[3], debuted on Fridays and Saturdays. [4] Eviction took place on Saturdays instead of Sundays for the first time ever.

Casting

The first two contestants were seen by viewers on Casting Colors TV's Instagram stories responding to a number of fan questions. [5] [6] "#BB16ContestantFirstLook" was the title of this section. Later it was established that they were Soundarya Sharma and Gautam Singh Vig. 

Concept

This season's Bigg Boss theme is "Upside Down," so everything will be the opposite of what it was in the previous seasons.

Development



Abdu Rozik was formally presented as the first contender at the press conference[10] and launch event[11] for this season, which were both held on September 27, 2022[12],[13] and were both moderated by Gauahar Khan[13].


The thirteenth season's logo and the Eye logo are quite similar. It has a logo in a vivid red colour with a blue pupil.

House


This season's House has a "Circus" theme.
For the fourth time, The House was situated in Goregaon. This season's house featured four bedrooms—the Fire Room, Black and White Room, Cards Room, and Vintage Room—as well as the first extravagant private jacuzzi in Bigg Boss history for the captain. [16] The jail in the home was envisioned as a hanging position over the swimming pool, known as Maut Ka Kuwa (Well of Death).

Release


On September 11, 2022, a Salman Khan-starring advertisement was released.
One day before the premiere, advertisements with Gori Nagori, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, and Abdu Rozik with Khan were released. Just prior to the launch, advertisements starring Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, and Tina Datta were released
